Becoming a Food Safety Trainer Subject Knowledge You must demonstrate that you have the required subject knowledge. Any certificate which is greater than 3 years old should be accompanied with an account of how you have kept your subject knowledge up to date which should also be verified by a suitably qualified person e.g. manager, course tutor.
