I was reading an interesting article in the Irish Examiner where Kehlan Kirwan, Producer & Content Creator - RedEye Media had a conversation with Prof John Sheridan from UCD. They discussed why Barbie Dolls have consistently sold well down the years.  Kirwan response was “Girls like dolls,” but Prof Sheridan thought differently and replied. “No. It’s because everything that goes into making up Barbie doll range – the cars, houses and clothes – has some sort of luminous colour to them. They catch the eye.”
